Coptic crosses are worn by the Christian sect of Africa\'sEthiopians. Crosses are strung on vintage hand-carved clay spindle whorls andhandmade coconut shells from Guinea. Spinning whorls continue to be usedtoday by Mali women to spin cotton. Coptic crosses and spindle whorls areconnected together with natural stones and recycled glass beads from Ghana.

This necklace is absolutely wonderful and makes a strong statement. It features tribal silver coptic crosses embellished with old clear and cranberry glass as well as smoothly shaped coconut shell pieces. The pendants hang from a wonderful necklace of beautifully embellished clay spindle whorls and coconut shell rounds.
The necklace is 20\" long PLUS the longest pendant at 7\", creating a total length of 27\". The largest cross pendant is 2.5\" long x 2.25\" wide. The necklace closes with a simple square hook clasp.Condition is great.
