What a statement of beauty this wonderful vintage decorated to ItalianFrenchy style clock makes!! ~ not for the feint of heart because it is definitely over the top but quite charming with such elaborate gesso type swirls-scrolling and colors of pinks, blues, yellows, and greens ~ many many lovely climbing roses and similar romantic flowers ~ a dark gilded highlight outlines many of the scrolls and detail ~ the clock has a gold tone face with roman numeral hands with some decorative gold etching - the cover which is hinged and swings open may be a plastic but not sure - there is a little orange cover on the middle of the arms that I have since removed because I think that it is there to steady the hands when moving ~ the clock keeps very good time for me so far and is operated with a C size battery which installs inside the decorative panel pinned close at the back which I have shown in my last photo ~ very nice size measuring 76\" tall ~ the clock face is 6.25 in diameter and the widest area between the three curvy legs is 20\"Very few areas of paint loss ~ not an antique but vintage and beautiful
