Beautiful 1:600 scale waterline model of British Navy battleship DREADNOUGHT. Made by Scherbak Ship Models.

Model was displayed, but in as new condition.

Turrets are rotating.

Modelwas hand built in scale 1:600 out of selcted and seasoned hardwoods with steel and brass wire parts. Attached to blue wooden plinth with 2 screws.

The plinth slided in the designated slots of protective wooden box.

Model length - 10.5\", wooden box is 12\" long.

Only 6 of these models werebuilt back in 2004. Selling for friend.

This model was a part of the Series of IDstyle(identification, spotter, recognition) models.

This series is designedfor discerning 1:600 and 1:500 scale collectors to fill gaps in the WWII ID modelproduction. In order to do this, the best of heritage of waterline shipmodeling was carefully researched and traditions of such firms as BassettLowke, Van Ryper, Framburg, Comet, South Salem, Bronsart etc were criticallyincorporated.
