This item is an advertising item for cough remedies with the Dr. Drake\'s brand name, and it is an \'encased\' 1949-P Lincoln cent in which the cent is surrounded by an aluminum \'collar.\' The \'heads\' side of the collar has the words DR. DRAKE\'S - THE CHILDREN\'S COUGH REMEDY, and the other side has the words FOR CHILDREN\'S CROUPY COUGHS USE DR. DRAKE\'S. This item measures approximately 32 mm (1-1/4\") in diameter.
This item is in very fine condition, with very light wear, signs of handling, natural toning of coin, and limited soiling. The aluminum collar has a very good silver color, and it is bright.
