Known for his Teniers tea services.

Boxes bearing his mark are quite rare.

Rectangular with leaf border and engine turned surfaces.

Dutch tavern or Teniers scene, richly detailed.

From panel oval shield with crane and flower.

Sides with raised leopard head amidst grape and leaf.

Never monogrammed.

Regency sterling gilt box 7 inches by 3 5/8 inches and 34 standard ounces.

Hallmarked as shown.

Very fine condition.

Rich, lustreous sterling patina.

Retain near original detail.
