German Dresden Large Porcelain Figure Bacchus Group Jaguar Cherubs Circa 1900Circa 1900, German probably Dresden hand painted porcelain figurative group depicting Bacchus with two young ladies, both dressed in light summer long cotton dresses decorated with floral motif, with Bacchus sitting with raised wine glass, one maiden pours wine from the ewer, with the second maiden wearing grape-vine leaf wreath upon Bacchus\'s head. Backside of the sculpture depicting a cherub playing with the jaguar, theater masks, musical instruments surrounds the scene. Two cherubs enjoying freshly harvested grapes. Decent realistic details to such large porcelain figure, rich vibrant colors and yet very gently to an eye. Excellent combination of turquoise, green, yellow and pick colors. Overall very good condition, no damage, no hairlines nor any cracks. Restoration to the jaguar\'s paw, wine ewer restored. Grape-vine wreath garland restored. Marked: blue under-glaze star mark
