Marked stamped Gerstner & Son Dayton Ohio, The stamp has other stuff but I can not make it out. Now sure what it is made for, tools, pencils, jewelry or dental tools. It measures 9\" tall - 8 3/4\" wide and 9 3/4 deep, these are outside measurements. - The top right corner protector has a crack in it about a 1/2\" long. Its very well made tight, strong and sturdy. The whole box is in very good condition wood draws, pulls, black material, feet and lock & key (made by eagle) great shape. I do not know the age of this box. Three of the draws have the serrated metal plates in the bottom, that can be removed. - They look like they would hold a pencil or drill.
