Aristocrat case in gold plate.
From 1941.
Hinges are in good working order.
Note that the closing mechanism is intact but needs to be bent forward in order for the case to stay closed
I will leave this to the new owner as old brass can be brittle and wanted to be cautious with an item that was intended for sale..
The interior tray seems firmly attached with the exception of one corner That is slightly elevated.
Fabric has some fraying wear the blade bank fits.
Interior fabrics are different colors probably because of sun exposure.Note the two lines across the top in photos # 3 and 4
Light scratches on all surfaces except the bottom see photo # 10
Bottom has moderate scratches.
These cases are still uncommon and do not come up everyday.
