Fascinating writings of the dictator \"Papa Doc\" Duvalier who describes himself as \"President for Life of the First Free Negro Republic in the World\", as he recounts his interpretation of Martin Luther King\'s life and legacy, presents his condolences to Loretta King, declares five days of national mourning, and more...

Dust jacket and hardcover book in very good condition (given the rather artisanal nature of the publishing), 167 pages including many sepia-toned photographs. Two fabric page-markers (red and black) have faded tips. The original clear plastic cover (which protects the dust jacket) is scuffed with a couple of small tears but in generally good condition. 7¾\" - 9¾\" tall.
