Hand embroidered and pin tuck. White cotton lawn or voile, inset with lace trim. Excellent condition, every button and every loop still sturdy, all closures perfectly intact. The small lace panel on the center of the squared front neckline is torn and needs repair or removal. also it appear someone set some stitches on the front of the bodice where the lace makes a curve and it looks like they were later removed, this left some pin holes and a slight stretching of the fabric there. Could bemoistenedand blocked and it would probably minimize the problem. A flea bite of foxing or rust and some very tiny flea bite size shatter holes in the midst of the pin tuck on the seat. All of these minor flaws can be seen in the last two photos. I would still rate this piece as in excellent, perfectly wearable but delicate condition. 12 pictures please see them all.
