This exquisite quality Girdle Suspender belt was made by, Velba a renown Corsetieres of Belgium.

Apart from the front satin panel it is made from multiple shaped panels of medium firm elastane. The seams that join the sculpted panels are utilised for the stay pockets. The four rear seams stay pockets have two flat steel stays and two others. The tummy panel has three long flat steel stays. In several places there is black plush velvet to afford the wearer more comfort.

It fastens on the left side with both strong steel Hooks & Eyes and a heavy black steel zipper. The whole thing is also padded with Plush Velvet.

There are 4 adjustable suspenders, on button-holed elastic straps with a shiny metal clasp.

The given size is 70 which equates to 28”. The actual measurement is 28” – 34” waist, hips, 38” – 44” and 16” deep at the hip. We estimate that this Girdle is suitable for a waist size of 30” – 32”.

The condition is perfect. New old stock.

3. Some vintage and antique garments may be shop soiled and or have slight marks as a result of long term storage in our attic. If we think that the marks will come out after washing we may for aesthetic reasons of originality leave them as they are in their original state.

4. On rare occasions there may be very slight marks that may be impossible to remove. Again in this event we will always try to include these facts in our write-ups.

5. Sizes: Where there is no size label in a garment we will try and give a realistic guesstimate based on experience, actual measurement and how it fits our mannequin. We can not guarantee these guesstimates and if a potential buyer is in any doubt they should question us before placing a offer. Any buyers who don’t enquire and later ask for a refund on the grounds of giving incorrect information will not be looked favourably.
