Truly the \"queen of hearts\", this is the biggest and most beautiful Victorian turquoise heart locket I have ever had! Impressive antique cabochon turquoise stones, each having its unique color which has developed over time. Antique turquoise is natural, unlike modern turquoise which is stabilized with plastic to close off the pores. This locket opens widely and awaits for your pictures or a loved ones lock of hair....Unlike most of these type lockets which usually have a rear glass cover. The original bale is lovely. The locket measures 1 5/8\" in length by 3/4\" wide. And I believe it is made of 800 Silver.....It is shown on an antique chain which is not included in this sale. It could also be worn on a ribbon necklace. If you have been dreaming of a Victorian turquoise locket, this one is fit for a queen! Excellent condition and closes tightly and securely!!!!!
