Rare signed 1950\'s Maestro Licio Zanetti, Italian Murano Vaseline glass Sculpture Horse. Made by hand sometime between 1950-1969, Zanetti\'s glass sculptures are World recognized and revered for their Quality and Artistry. Absolutely No damage No repairs. A superior Zanetti glass sculpture, with real life detailing everywhere you look.. Tremendous size both in height and depth which is only further enhanced by the use of Vaseline glass. Really just beautiful color variations within this vaseline, which changes with the light. Horses head is nicely scuLpted with beautifully polished thick glass ~ Very Expressive face with detailed eyes, jowels, nose, open mouth and a GLorious Mane. Workmanship has captured and reminds me of the Victorian print The Pharoahs Horses. Please note that Much of Zanetti\'s sculpture work was done in clear glass and therefore more abundant. His vaseline sculptures, especially in this size... are rare. Large sculpture measures 8.5 inches tall and 8 and 1/2\" wide, 3\" deep. Take a ruler and Measure that out!! Clearly signed in Script on the polished bottom, Zanetti L. This sculpture has a wonderful rounded FLowing continuity to it, there are no sharp harsh edges to this piece. As I mentioned above the condition is excellant, this sculpture spent years as a Piano baby gracing the top of a Piano. Good florescence under black light stunning color. NOTE I HAVE LISTED THE HORSE AT 400 FOR 7 DAYS BUT IF HE DOES NOT GO I WILL RE LIST HIM AT ORIGINAL ASKING.
