SIZE 1Dark Blue-Black GraniteThis vintage 3 Piece Lisk Roaster was originally designed for Chambers Stoves. The finest quality roasters - tested and approved by Chambers. The design of the roaster makes it self basting - the concave lid allows for natural juices of the roast to vaporize and rise, then condense and follow the lid\'s depressed grooves to the center - there the juices shower back down onto the roast. The inside tray is a distinctive feature of Lisk Roasters - an air chamber between the tray and the base, prevents scorching of the bottom of the roast and when it\'s done it lifts out with ease and the juices that collected in the tray are ready to make gravy. The lid has one Swivel vent for complete moisture control.Size 1:18\" handle to handle x 11-1/4\" wide x 7-1/4\" tall with lid in place - the base measures 3-7/8\" tall on its own. This roaster was sized to accomodate up to 10 lbs fowl / turkey or 12 lbs roast meat. The roaster has two permanently attached handles that make it easy to lift from an open oven shelf for removal from the oven - the insert tray also has two handles, removing meat and drippings from the pan is a breeze!
Roaster is in very good vintage condition on this vent style pan, signs of use, there\'s a little wear to enamel - Perfect size for regular and family size dinners! Please look closely at the photos, Ask for additional photos at least 24 hours prior to end of sale to allow for my compliance. I don\'t find any flaws on the inside of the roasters enamel, but there are scratches to the top, where possibly storage had caused some rubbing against a harder surface like cast iron.
