It is a new old stock pen and comes from a house cleareance.Only the box shows some signs of use. Its a special Montblanc pen engarved with the factory name of 4711 in Cologne.The company 4711, famous for there perfume, has order this pens in the 1980ties as special presents.This orders always were made in a very less numbers of items, so they are rare to find. Perhaps something special for a 4711 collector too.In the old catalog from the 80ties Montblanc offered this pen as model in juweleries shaping and workmanship.The guilloche is gold plated and threefold diamand cutted. Montblanc offered this pen under the model number 1147 as a cartridge pen.I think it will be very difficult to find such pens in mint condition, because nearly everybody used his fountain pen when he has purchased it. The fountain pen has 585 gold nib in OB size.
