My negative seller’s response from a buyer:

Lately I received 2 negative responses from the same buyer of 2 minor sales $25, and $30 respectively. These were my first negative seller’s responses since I started with 18 years ago in 1999.

According to my sale description, the collectors items were sent to an US postal address by untracked Air Mail totally at buyer’s risk FOC. The buyers, with an response of well below 100, had not paid extra for the cost of tracking, an alternative given to them. Nevertheless they unfairly opened a case at , and asked for a full refund of their purchase price after claiming non-receipt 40 days after they had paid.

I am shipping by NZ Post from New Zealand. From here international tracking is expensive, and the cost prohibitive for items of lower value. Numismatic collectors items are often interesting for buyers even if they are of low $ value. I wish to make it possible to sell low cost items economically without running into the risk of getting caught by unfair buyers.

Therefore, please read this carefully:

Shipping from New Zealand to USA, and to all other countries, except to New Zealand:

I shall send to you your item costing $100+ by New Zealand Post. The customs declaration will be for a \"historical document\". I will post your parcel free of charge for shipping by standard international Air Mail at my risk. Several low cost items at a total of $100+ that can be combined in one parcel will also be sent free of charge for shipping by standard international Air Mail at my risk.

Important:

If an sale\'s final cost is $100, or less, it is not economical to make international shipments by tracked or recorded mail from New Zealand to your country.

Therefore, shipments for less than $100 total sales I shall ship in a standard Air Mail letter, contents not declared for customs. You honestly agree, that in case such a letter with contents of lesser value will not arrive at your end, you will not use the PayPal or \"Buyer Protection\" procedures for that shipment in case of loss.

So shipments of a total value of $100, or less will be totally at your risk.

Nevertheless, if you want low value items sent at my risk, you can get it for an additional payment of $10. Then your numismatic items of lesser value will be sent in a recorded parcel (Air Mail) with a customs declaration for a \"historical document\".

This is only offered to buyers with a response rating of 200+.

If your response is lower, I shall ship it tracked by postal courier only, at an additional cost to you of $38. If you are not sure, please ask for alternatives before offerding.

Also, if you require shipping to Russia, Ukraine, China, Chinese Territories, North Korea, or to countries with war zones, you will have to pay extra for shipping with proof of delivery regardless of your response rating, and of the value of your parcel. Please ask for alternatives for those countries before offerding.
