As we stated this rug had been in the family for quite some time. It is Navajo Crystal JB Morgan 1900\'s. Design 2 medicine eyes pattern in center with whirling logs. It was appraised in the 70\'s as Chinles. A local dealer stated it is JB Moore. Repaired worth 6500.00 plus??? As is 2500.00 not out of range.
. (Fair ) 1900\'s rug navajo -chinle very rare. Size 49\" x 94\" . I have been asked a few questions about this rug, it does have bleeding of red dye, both sides are pretty much in the same condition. I am not an appraiser but think it is in fair condition in my opinion. The tears at bottom are noticeable. There are also brown stains as you can see in picture. And as I stated before edges frayed. It is old.....not in perfect condition.
All edges need to be repaired. All four. I have taken pictures of the most damage 8-12 pics. The red die has bled both sides. Most damage on all edges. Has stains on both sides. Pictures show damage, bleeds and stains. It needs to be repaired.
