Up for sale is a old antique early/mid 1900s American made 1 pc back full size for restoration. The nicely figured birds eye maple 1 pc. back measures 14 3/16 by 8 3/16 inches. The violin is lined and has 4 corner blocks. There are no bassbar or soundpost nor any other cracks on the violin. The scroll and pegbox are in good shape and the neck is solid. The fingerboard is ebony and in new condition. The soundpost is loose inside the violin and there is a open seam in the endpin area (please check pics). The violin is American made and is not labelled. The violin is for restoration. The violin is in the white and will need varnished (please check pics). Please check pics. and email questions.
