Up for sale is a old antique early 1900s 2 pc curly maple back full size violin for restoration. The nicely figured 2 pc. curly maple back measures 14 1/8 by 8 1/8 inches. There are no bassbar or soundpost cracks on the violin. The scroll and pegbox are in good condition and the neck is solid. The pegs turn smoothly and the fingerboard has some slight fingerwear. The soundpost is standing inside the violin and there are no open seams. The violin is labelled as a \"Landolfi\". The violin is for restoration. The violin has age related scratches/wearmarks on the varnish (please check pics). The top had been repaired at one time from the the lower bass side F hole to the chinrest area as well as the center seam under the tailpiece. The repairs are stable and holding (please check pics).
