This is for a Omar Needham bamboo fly rod. New. Built on a vintage Omar Needham never used blank. This is 7\' - 4wt. three pice. one tip. I got several of these blanks from a major tackle sale. They where consigned by Omar Needham\'s grandson. Omar Needham worked for Orvis from the early 1930\'s until the early 1950\'s. At this point he went out on his own. He made rods up until the 1970\'s. This blank had only one tip. The price reflects this. This rod has all high end fittings. The reel seat is a Classic Sporting Ent. mortised sliding band nickel silver seat. The ferrules are also Classic Sporting Ent. nickel silver ferrules. The snake guides are Snake brand. This rod has a gently swelled butt and very lightly flamed cane. This its a professional build and finish. Finish is Urathane. Maroon wraps. The butt wraps and ferrule wraps are maroon tipped black. Really nice looking rod. This is a medium action rod. Not to soft. Comes with a new tube and sock. See photos.Tube may have some minor marks from storage. Key words.
