One Piece Driver BGI B.G.I. old rare antique wood hickory shaft golf club :

A Great old One Piece Driver from my B.G.I. Collection. This club dates from late 1890s to 1903. The shaft and head of the club are made from one piece of wood. This club is 43\" long with a grip of 11 1/2 \" length. Shaft is stout and relatively straight. Note some dryness at the heel of the club. Grip is probably an old replacement. This club is in great condition for being 115+ years old.

.For Your Information- B.G.I. was one of the 1st three Golf Club Makers in America-starting about 1898 & ending mysteriously in less than 10 years.. They were a creativecompany& made quality golf clubs. B.G.I. was thefirst company to use anumbering system to identify there different model clubs by adding a number on the shaft of the club. Some 20 years latter, other companies started using the numbering system on the heads of their clubsas shafts were replaced & the model #swere lost.
