It is a striking ornamental plant, widely grown in domestic and public gardens and has a beautiful inflorescence. Its small size and the fact that it tolerates pruning well allows it to be planted in groups to form a hedgerow; it can be also used to attract hummingbirds. Medicine men in the Amazon Rainforst have long known some of the medicinal uses for Caesalpinia pulcherrima, which is known as ayoowiri. The juice from the leaves is said to cure fever, the juice from the flower is said to cure sores, and the seeds are said to cure bad cough, breathing difficulty, and chest pain.

GREAT FOR A DESERT GARDENS. CAN ALSO BE GROWN IN POTS FOR COLDER REGIONS.

HUMMINGBIRDS LOVE THIS FLOWER.

A seed is a live product which depends on many important related grower skills such as proper planting time, seed depth, type of soil, irrigation, proper use of fertilizers, weed controls, fungicides, insecticides, disease free soil, and reasonable weather conditions during the growing period. Germination is affected by such factors as temperature, moisture content, light intensity and contamination of planting media. These factors are totally out of my control and are your responsibility and risk. Consequentally, I cannot unconditionally guarantee seed to perform properly regardless of conditions or the buyer\'s methods or mistakes. Thank you.

Please make sure that your state or country allows the importation of seeds.
