This little Crystalline Silver Nugget comes from the Old Silver Crest Mine near Reno, Nevada.
They are very pure silver that has been blasted from the veins of silver in the walls of the mine and recovered.Some times referred to as splashes because the blast will splash the silver all over the other walls of the mine. This is why on the Back/Underside of the Specimen you will find some small amounts of Dirt or Rocks from the walls. :-)This little Piece weighs 5.402 Grams (over 5 Grams) and measures right at 3/4\" Long by 1/2\" Wide by 3/8\" Thick.
