RARE 1800s-1910s Antique Victorian Edwardian Blouse Cotton Lace:

Beautiful Victorian blouse made of white handkerchief cotton. The top front & back bodices & undersleeves are net lace with dot details & multiple small tucks, both are edged with a fine lace also with dot details. The over-sleeves are white cotton with wider tucks & edged with eyelet lace which matches the lace details of the gathered front and back. I believe this was removed from a skirt as the waist band was not sewn closed - I have sewn it together. On the bottom it closes with 6 original matching small mother of pearl buttons & beautiful hand sewn buttonholes, the seersucker & net lace close with 6 small hooks (these are not original to the piece).

Measurements: 25\" waist, 35\" around at underarms, 13\" across front at shoulders, 12 1/2\" across back at shoulders (both shoulder measurements are from the outer edge of the eyelet lace), 26\" sleeve length, 9\"-10\" stretch on the sleeve width (I am sure that as the sleeves are stretched they get shorter).

Condition: Very good to excellent for its age. The material is white, with very little yellowing (none under the arms). There is one mended tear in the front under the right arm as shown in the photo, and 4 tiny holes, 2 of which are shown in photos. There are also a few areas where the material is visibly thinner but no holes yet.
