Exceedingly rare find.. a complete 4 medal large Silver and Bronze 1959 Hawaii Official Statehood Medals. All 4 types are part of this set. The set contains the pair of Silver and Bronze \"error\" medals as well as a pair of the Silver and Bronze \"corrected\" medals - 4 medals in total. The pair of error medals show a \"gap\" in the spelling of the Island of HIIHAU. All four medals are 2 1/2\" in size and all 4 medals weigh just under 4 1/2 oz. The Silver medals are marked .925 Sterling Silver. All 4 medals are in nice shape as seen. You occasionally see single offerings for the corrected versions of the desired Official Hawaii Statehood medals and on occasion bronze and rarely silver \"error\" versions of these medals.. Never that I can recall in the past 19 yrs I have been on has anyone offered a complete set of all 4 varieties of the large 1959 Hawaii Official Statehood medals. A very rare opportunity to acquire a complete set .
