Civil War \"TENT\" Valentine 1864
This is a very popular rare card made for the soldiers
who were away from home during the war.
It can be found folded in a small envelope or found in
large envelope the same size as the card.
On occasion it is also found in one of the
colorful patriotic envelopes used during that era or in the
envelope called the \"Soldiers Farewell\" which is also rare and hard to find.
About 8 different verses were pasted to the front of the card
but all the valentines have the same scene shown here.This original card is mounted on a red board with information about it pasted below it.
The size is approximately 7\" x 4 1/2\". The envelope is not included.
This is a rare card from a collector\'s estate.
