This isvariation 2 and is one of approx. only 1000 of this Ivoryjug ever producedby Royal Doulton issued from 1930.
Originally as a promotional piece for the D&J McCallum distillery & only produced in 2 colour-ways.
The other colour-way is Light & Dark Browns, that style had approx. 1500specimens making the Ivory colourmorerare.
This jug was also produced by other manufacturers from an almost identical design whose size & colours are extremely close to the Royal Doulton jug.Of course the backstamp is the best way to tell the difference.
Measuring 7 inches tall & in fantastic condition, this has to be on the avid collectors wanted list.
