Happy spring fishing tothe flyfisher!!Treat yourselfto a new top shelf flyrod and saltwater tough reel/spool. Ted Jurasick\'s TiborSignature Series 7-8QC reel in black with the original Tibor Bonfish on theface of the reel and also has the world famousTibor SEALED DRAG. Reel is listed as used but looks almost new.Looks like the reel was opened up to change retrieveonce and then used in the backyard twice and then retired to the reel case. Please see pictures for condition of reel. Sage Z-Axis 990-4 rod is in excellent condition and has been used less then a dozen times. Rod is a 9\' 4 section salt rod and comes with Sage rod sock and hard travel tube.

This reel is the sought afterBonefish Engraved Signature Series model and not the plain model. This reel also has the Tibor QC quick change spoolthat lets you switch fly lines in a matter a seconds by changing spools... AND FOR THE TIBOR EXPERTS -- YES THIS SIZE QC SPOOL AND SIGNATURE SPOOL DO INTERCHANGE!!! My understanding is this size is the only one that does. Most fishermen want to have a floating line and some sort of sinking line available at all times. Every tried to change flylines on a small flats boat when the bite is on and you can\'t get the fly to the fish???? Or the guide is yelling let it sink and you have a floating line on your reel?? Nothing goes fast when your in the thick of it, your adrenaline is running wild and fish are all over your boat.... that\'s when the value of a QC reel and extra spool is apparent.

The pictured gold colored QC spool completes this setup and lets you have both floating and sinking lines availabe for a quick change on the water. The gold spool and black reel frame is a striking combo. See last two pictures.

Note: reel and spool were never lined for this 9wt and may need 15-20 yds of backing removed to accomadate the 9wt line.
