Item: Mini vase in snuff bottle form. Unknown clay pottery composition. I do not believe it to be porcelain though it is thin for normal clay work. Delft blue/ celadon hue mixed glaze. Base shows ceramic color. Finely painted cattails on the face of vase. It has the artist\'s initials on the base \"D.P.\", as well as the stylized maker\'s mark - circle swirls, paired wavy lines, and a tail (I spent over two hours going over hundreds of marks, and never found it anywhere). I suspect English or Continental European. My sense is early 1800\'s, but it would not surprise me if it was earlier. I may be off base. It is only a matter of time before I find this maker\'s mark. It is unusual and I am sure has a great story.

Feel free to contact me about the piece or if you know anything different about the piece.

Condition: Excellent condition. No discernible flaws, other than some light visible craze lines. See picture close ups to see the condition.

Measures: 2\" tall, 1 3/8\" across.

Shipping: I safely ship worldwide and provide a subsidized shipping price, which is significantly less than actual shipping costs. This means I will pay a portion of the shipping charge. The further away from nyc you are, and the bigger the package, the significantly more expensive the shipping cost gets. West of the Mississipi and then West Coast rates are progressively higher. I can not control the postage rates but I will help pay for the cost. I encourage you to negotiate on other items and save on bulk shipping. I add insurance for free. I use the highest grade shipping products (mostly recycled), and I use advanced packing physics to ensure your treasure arrives safe. Our packages are designed to withstand tossing around and dropping. No one wants to open a box to find a broken item - it has happened very few times in my years doing this, and not in years. My stated handling time is 3 business days but I usually ship out the next day.
