Offered is a rareantique medical Liebreichs Ophthalmoscope eye instrument setin a beautiful red silk and velvet lined embossed leather covered wood case. Instrument dates 2nd half 1800s. Set has a full complement of 5 small hand numbered on each lenses and two unique gutta percha hard rubber enclosed large indirect large lenses. Black wood handle is detachable. Leather case embossed in gold LIEBREICH OPHTHAMOSCOPE on the top. Working push button brass lock and sound hinges. Instrument is in excellent condition. Exceptionally clean, no loss to paint. Leather case is very clean, no wear or discoloration. A fine example. 6\" long x 2 7/8\" wide x 7/8\" thick. Please e-mail with questions. Thanks
