Rare Griswold #8 Model 704 10 1/2\" Smooth Bottom Cast Iron Skillet. Made in Erie, Pennsylvania between 1939 and 1944. Italicized slanted \"GRISWOLD\" in a cross within a 3 1/4\" double circle trademark. (Slant E.P.U. Logo). Good pre-owned condition. Surface has small to pin head sized pitting uniformly throughout. This can be seen in the photos above and the price has been adjusted to reflect this. Minor movement can be produced when placed on a flat surface. Does not spin. Thoroughly stripped, cleaned, and re-seasoned at 475 degrees for two hours and is ready to use when you get it. It will continue to improve with use and proper care. A solid piece of vintage Griswold cookware in good usable and collectible condition. Approximate dimensions are 10 1/2\" diameter, 11 1/4\" from pour spout to pour spout, 2 1/8\" deep, overall length including handle 15 1/4\". Weight is 4 Lbs. 1 Oz.
