For sale - A very rare Shelley Art Deco \"Fruit\" 12197 Vogue pattern Regent shape tea trio. C.1933.
This pattern is normally seen on the Vogue shape (pattern No 11879)Black print. 2 stylised coral apples on a white ground. Coral trim and ring handle. Entered into the pattern book during or after 1933.Dimensions:cup base 45mm (1.75 inches) / diameter across top of cup 87mm (3.4 inches) / height of cup 69mm (2.75 inches)/ diameter of saucer 141mm (5.5 inches) / side plate 178mm (7 inches).Condition: All 3 pieces are in very good cleancondition with no chips, cracks orcrazing or signs of ware. All paintwork and enamelling is in good order with no fading to the pattern. All 3 pieces have a very good \"ping\" to them when lightly tapped.
