This is a rare find. Not sure if it is original or a repro. This I was told it was a fightingtrench knife. The blade is not rusted or badly scratched. It has a nice original sharp edge andshine to it. It has not been polished. Dark in pictures is just a camera reflection. Just as we got it years ago. Blade is 6 1/2\" long from brass handle to the tip of the blade. Total length of the knife is 10 3/4\" long not counting the pommel. The pommel is tight. The original scabbard is not scratched up or dented. Solid brass handle is not cracked or broken. This is a great knife for the collector. I have had it for years.
