\"Retired\" Lladro 6900 Music for a Dream Figurine:
$295.00

\"Retired\" Lladro 6900 \"Music for a Dream\" figurine. The sculpture is Marco Antonio Nogueron. Piece was issued in 2001 and retired in 2010.
Figurine measures 11.5\" high. Retail value begins at $950.00.
When I acquired this piece, the violin bow was missing. I contacted Lladro and I asked to purchase a replacement bow for this specific piece.Lladro sold me the bow which is pictured. It measures 2\" (5 cm.) in length. When I viewed a photo of thefigurine online, the bow appeared longer; however Lladro sold me this bow as the replacement for this particular piece. As you can see from my photo, the bow does fit, but it takes a bit of maneuvering to get it exactly right and sitting on the violin and in the clown\'s hand properly. I will include the receipt and mailing envelope from Spain with the piece, as well to verify that this is an original replacement piece from Lladro in Spain.
There is a tiny \"pinging\" sound inside figurine which I researched online and found the answer on the Lladro website to explain what it is:
\"The pinging inside the finished figurine results when the hole punched into the hollow figurine to release steam and pressure during firing releases a little button of porcelain that then hardens inside the figurine to rattle around within it ever after, a reminder of how it was made. This phenomenon is typical of fine porcelain figurines and is not an indication of damage of any kind.\" (Collecting Lladro: Identification & Price Guide by Peggy Whiteneck)
