This is a gorgeous piece of Royal Doulton Basalt Ware. It is a dark black Loving Cup with Gold inscription. 11 inches high . This is commemorating the 350th anniversary of the landing of the Mayflower in Plymouth Massachusetts in 1620.(1970)
The 400th commemoration is only 3 years away and you could have one from the last commemoration.
There were a limited number of 500 made and this is number 284 as marked on the bottom of the Loving CupThis has been sitting in a box for nearly 50 years and shows no sign of age , discoloration, chips, cracks or repairs.a truly beautiful item.
It comes with it\'s box and the paperwork in a plastic case authenticating it.
