This is a new find from the Stony Creek area in NorthernCalifornia. This is area is known for its poppy jaspers mostly found as float. Acouple of years ago I managed to find not just one out-cropping but several!.The numerous heeled fractures give this jasper a lot of character as well. Asyou can see from the pictures the poppies run throughout the rock. There areseveral fractures in this slab but it should yield a good number of cabs
