Offered for sale this rare and beautiful pair of Tiffany and Company bronze candleholders in the form of winged griffins. Each one is marked on the belly Tiffany and Company maker 0416 7427 and the letter M.Solid bronze in perfect condition they include the top cap which sits on top of the candleholder.Made by Tiffany and Company circa 1920 to 1925. These are similar in design to the English or Irish 18-19th century Griffin candleholders. They measure 10 1/4 inches from the tip of the tail to the top of the candleholder and 6 3/4 inches at the highest point.Solid and heavy quality bronze these make a fantastic pair of candleholders for any holiday table.The ones made by Tiffany are quite rare.
