These were an accessory bow rest called the Hoover. Some cars, mostly in the teens, were upgraded with these when the originals came loose and were lost. They advertised \"When adjusted, four sharp edges and the set screw grip securely on the bow arm, preventing it from working loose\". These fit onto a 5/8\" bow arm or smaller. The Hoover Bow Rests were advertised in auto parts accessory catalogs for the general industry, as well as in catalogs for Ford cars. Nice brass castings with saddle harness leather. Note the buckle is made into the bow rest which was a unique feature of the Hoover design.Ships to the continental US unless other arrangements are made.
