Up for sale is a very large, very old, Running Horse Weathervane. This was always a wonderful conversation piece. It came for an estate collection made over 70 years. It was thought that this came from the east coast area. It\'s made of copper, has a greatweathered surface with gilt and patina.

THE DIMENSIONS ARE 30 INCHES FROM NOSE TO TAIL & 15 INCHES TALL FROM HOOVES TO EARS. IT\'S ABOUT 3 INCHES WIDE.

THIS HORSE SHOWS WONDERFUL WEAR AND IS A GREAT PIECE OF FOLK ART.

THE GREENISH COLOR ON THE HORSE IS A TARNISH OF THE COPPER AND COULD BE CLEANED OFF.

I JUST CAN\'T FIND A LOT WRONG WITH THIS PIECE. IT DOES HAVE ONE SMALL DENT ON THE BACK HIP AREA.

I\'M SURE THE MAIN POST OF THE STAND IS NOT ORIGINAL. THE DIRECTION PART IS ORIGINAL.

IT WILL BE SHIPPED IN TWO BOXES TO PROTECT THE HORSE. THIS WILL MAKE SHIPPING A BIT HIGHER.
