Substantial lovely shape solid copper pot/saucepan from an old country house kitchen.
Made in Birmingham by famous makers Battle Brand weighs 6.6kg with a diameter of 31cm and deep 18cm the strong brass handle is 29cm and is firmly attached for life will never move or come loose, this is a quality artisan heavyweight made piece of vintage kitchen ware.The condition for this old copper pot is very good, please have a good look at the pictures and bear in mind its age, its not new , the interior base tinning has wear and needs re-tinning although it would be fine for jam making or non acidic cooking.The pot today would cost a fortune to make if you could get one, further polishing and time would give you a gleaming gold pot, a shame not to cook with it, but for decoration it would look great hanging from the ceiling.
