Charming vintage Merrythought Gran\'pop monkey designed in 1930s by Lawson Wood, bearing original Merrythought Hygienic Toys and Registered Design labels.
Made of pale golden mohair and velvet,
feels to be stuffed with kapok,
fully jointed,
has got moulded velveteen face with painted features,
velveteen ears and lower limbs,
inoperative squeaker in his belly,
Merrythought labels stitched to the left foot pad.
Approx. 12\" tall.
Condition - monkey is in good vintage condition with some general wear and thinning to mohair.
