MAMA FRENCH POODLE AND PUPS ~ SPICES ~ VINTAGE MID CENTURY KITCHEN DECOR
This old set is pretty cool! There are 7 pieces in all. The mother Poodle measures 6\" high and is about 9\" long. She has 3 holes on each side to accommodate her Poodle pups which \"hook\" into the holes. (pix 5 & 6) Each pup stands about 3 3/4\" high and 2 1/2\" wide. They have tags around their necks to identify the spice inside.Nutmeg, Salt, Pepper, All Spice, Cinnamon, & Clove. 3 have stoppers in the bottom and 3 do not. One pup has a little chip on the bottom. (see pix 11) Two pups have had their \"hooks\" repaired.All pieces are stamped \"Japan\" on the bottom and the mother Poodle retains the original foil sticker marked \"West Pac, Japan\". Colors are bright, and the set is in overall good vintage condition. (the mother Poodle is not a vinegar/oil piece....her head does not come off...lol....but I\'ve see a couple of sets like that)Whimsical, funny and functional!
