Offered is a World War One Issued 1916 Imperial German Mauser 98/05 Butcher Bayonet & Scabbard. The Bayonet is marked on the top of the blade with a crown W 17 crown 1W?. The tang is marked \"Waffenfabrk Mauser AG Oberndorf ?N.\" The Cross guard is stamped \"RLM 526\". The Bayonet measures 19-5/8 inches long with a 14-1/2 inch blade. The Blade retains most of its bluing. The Blade has never been sharpened. The very tip of the knife is flat. The Scabbard has a couple of dents and light surface rust on one side. Otherwise, it retains most of its bluing. The bayonet and scabbard are in nice condition overall. Buyer pays USPS Retail Ground shipping.
