Here is a beautiful c.1880 boldly AUTOGRAPHED Boudoir photograph of Capt. Jack Crawford (1847-1917) (also known as \"The Poet Scout\") by the iconic photographer, Isaiah West Taber.... Crawford\'s colorful biography is too rich to write in this brief item description. He was a story teller, adventurer, educator and performer... As does not allow links to be posted in item descriptions, I refer you to his wonderful and extensive biography on Wikipedia. I assure you that you will enjoy it. Photographer I.W. Taber also has a rich history.

The photograph measures 7 x 10. The card mount has some small missing pieces on the edges, but both the photograph and autograph are in fine condition and will frame beautifully...

I\'ve been a collector of photographs, important documents and publications related to Native American history for over 35 years. I am not a commercial dealer. My collection mainly covers the period from early 1700\'s to 1930. The images (all original) are of various sizes and have been safely stored in archival museum boxes in a climate controlled setting.
