- Dates back to c.1898, the outbreak of the Spanish American War with the involvement of thePhilippinesand opening of the PacificTheater
- It is from an Infantry uniform
- Very convexed dome shape
- Embossed brass front, steel back, which is picked up by a magnet
- The Coat-of-Arms up front is the one that was used in The Philippines (then Spanish East Indies) during the Rule of the House of Bourbon,1700–1868; 1874–1898
- Marked on the back by the maker - F.S.P. EXTRA
- Condition: Good overall. Please see photos below. All original. Nice patina, developed over time
