Very nice, completely handcrafted in the United States, Mica lampshade. This shade is an appropriate size for typical antique floor lamps of the teens to thirties as well as larger table lamps. Measurements taken flat hexagonal panel to flat hexagonal panel are 9 inches top 17 inches bottom and 11-1/2 inches tall. Measured corner to corner 10 inches top and 19-1/2 inches bottom. This shade is crafted from SilverMica that I have externally encased in parchment and decorated with my own original decoupage graphic and hand painting. This parchment process provides protection from flaking and also gives a wonderful orangepeel look typical of original early 20th century shades. The seams are all leaded and tinned brass . This shade is signed and dated on the inseam with my namestamp and book plate logo. The spider is built as a structural framework that is riveted into the inseams and is constructed of bronze welded steel bar stock. Lamp base in last picture for display only and not included in this sale. This shade would look very nice on a lamp base that measures about 24\" to 28\" to the finial bolt. Fibonacci Mandala

This design is inspired by Fibonacci\'s sequence as illustrated by the central pine cone and golden spiral figures on each of the panels.
