Clock is heavy and well made with beveled glass on brass ship\'s wheel faceplate. Clock measures 8.25\" diameter across handles x 3\" deep. Clock face measures approx. 4\" diameter.
The Manhattan Marine & Electric Company was a staple of the yachting set in New York for eight decades. Founded in December of 1923, Manhattan Marine catalog became \"something of a bible for all the ships at sea,\" as the New Yorker Magazine declared in 1979.
