Up for your consideration is this absolutely beautiful Cosmopolitan Miss Ginger Doll from the 1950\'s. She is dressed in her TAGGED Bridesmaid dress that is made of nylon, and an overlay oftulle with polka dots. I think originally the dress may have been a light pinkish shade, but has now faded to a light beige. She has matching light pink nylon panties, and a beige straw hat, accented with a rose flower and beige ribbon. Her hi-heel shoes are shocking pink, and also includea pair of nylon stockings. Miss Ginger carries her original spray of flowers with ribbon ties on her hand. Herhead is vinyl and the face paint is excellent, as well as her rooted hair which is still in the original set of long blonde cascading curls. Nail and toenail polish are still visible, and her hard plastic body is in excellent condition too. Minor fading which is typical of these dolls over time. This doll is marked on the back of her neck which says: GINGER.This doll does not have earrings, and I was told that some of the early Miss Ginger\'s did not. She may have been a \"Dressed Boxed Doll\" or a \"Salesman\'s Display Doll,\" but I do not know for sure, and am not a Ginger expert. I was also told by a kind er, that the Miss Ginger\'s did not have side eyelashes, but this doll does. In the 1957 Toy Fair Edition Partial Preview Listing, it does show a Miss Ginger with side eyelashes. This may, or may not have been a printed error. Could this have been an early \"Walking Miss Ginger?\" Again, I am not a Ginger expert, and cannot say for sure. You be the judge.
