This elegant ring is set with acertificated, natural, earth-mined princess-cut diamond. It weighs a considerable 0.70 carat and possessesgood finish grade.
This diamond is of rare white colour F, which means that it is tremendously pure white and bright. It is right at the very top-end of the diamond colour-grading scale.
It is of exemplary VVS2 clarity, and therefore it possesses a superb degree of transparency and purity. At this extreme top-end of the diamond-grading scales, the differences between diamonds are left only to the experts to ascertain, using laboratory equipment. (Please see GIA chart below for further information on colour and clarity.)
Modern princess-cut diamonds integrate the incredible fire that is associated with the round brilliant-cut, with the contemporary appearance of a square stone. The princess-cut was designed for achieving maximum brilliance from a square-cut gemstone. Their flat tables also act as windows into the diamonds\' centres, allowing one to see the true, animated, beauty of the gems. The flat tables also create the illusion of the diamonds weighing more than their true carat-weight.
The shoulders are set with a pair of tapered baguette-cut diamonds, weighing a total of 0.20 carat. They are of approximate colour F and clarity VVS2.
The shank is heavily-made of solid, fully-hallmarked, rich 18ct yellow gold. The diamond-setting is made of 18ct white gold, to best compliment the pure whiteness of the diamond. The ring is currently UK sizeM (USA size6 1/2), but could easily be resized to fit, by your local high-street jeweller, if necessary.
