Welcome and enjoy browsing my unique listings of 1:12 scale hand crafted dollhouse artisan miniatures. These are not toys. These items are inappropriate for children under age twelve, as most are very delicate and intended for display only. They are in gently used condition. Please study the pictures carefully. I attempt to show items from many different angles to provide an accurate idea of exactly what you’ll be buying.
I am downsizing my extensive personal collection of exquisite dollhouse miniatures handmade in the US or UK. Years ago I sold multitudes of quality artisan items on to satisfied customers and have returned after a long break. I am not a professional dealer but an avid (mostly!) retired collector.
These items were boxed for five years. Before that each was lovingly displayed behind glass in my smoke-free home. These items are vintage. Many were ordered directly from artisans or from the estate of a friend in Maine whose collection dated back to the heyday of the 1980’s. These are little pieces of history from the mini world. Many of the artisans are now sadly long retired or passed.
Flaws, measurements and considerations will be described. The photos are an integral part of the description, so please look carefully to determine the quality and condition of each item for yourself. I do my very best but two pairs of eyes are better than one. Please do not hesitate to ask questions. I strive for accuracy and attention to detail. I want you to be as pleased with these treasures as I am. Should any concerns arise, please write to me so we can work together to your satisfaction.
Payment is requested within three days. Normally I only ship twice weekly as I work around somewhat erratic hours of the local library to print postage labels then mail at the post office. Both require planning, so I limit shipping to only two days a week. I try to ship within three business days whenever possible. I want you satisfied, not stuck waiting for your treasures, but I must work within the constraints I have. Please take notice of the shipping restricts listed below due to holiday concerns.
Special care is taken to ship securely using green, recycled and often creative packaging. Don’t judge the book by its used cover, as this is green shipping in action! I only ship to the Continental US.——For your consideration is a vintage 1:12 scale dollhouse miniature framed original 1800\'s valentine portrait of an sweet child. This work was crafted cleverly into a framed dollhouse miniature wall hanging and signed on the back by Renee Bowen. Ms. Bowen, now retired, was known for creative repurposing of antique items into whirligigs, animal pull toys, Baxter original 1850\'s prints from newspapers and tiny valentine portraits. Her Americana items were alwaysexecutedwith precision, care, creativity and love. I purchased this directly from my friend over a decade ago. This framed portrait measures 1 3/8\" across by about 1 11/16\" long with a tiny loop on the back for hanging if you so wish. This was never used, only boxed.
